Gareth Bale put his Real Madrid frustrations to a single side to an equaliser for Wales.
Wales created a slow start in the Cardiff City Stadium on Sunday night and had been fortunate to be only 1-0 down as Nikola Vlasic opened the scoring (9) however Bale, whos admitted he isnot playing joyful in Madrid, scored a vital leveller on the stroke of half-time (45+3).
They understand wins away to Azerbaijan and will be enough for a top-two place, so long as four points dont collect in their last two although perhaps the hosts could have pushed for maximum points.
It means its still all to play for in Group E. Fourth-placed Wales are four points behind second-placed Hungary, however Ryan Giggs guys have a game in hand.
Before shooting on Hungary at Cardiff three days in what seems likely to be a fixture in terms of Euro 2020 qualification afterwards wales travel to confront Azerbaijan on November 16.
Meanwhile, Croatia want only a point to be eligible.
