Marcelino has been sacked as Valencia head trainer just 3 matches into the La Liga season.
The 54-year-old was dismissed on Wednesday following a falling out with club owner Peter Lim.
In a formal statement, the club said“Valencia CF declared on Wednesday to Marcelino Garc??a Toral his dismissal as coach of the first team.
„The club wishes to thank you for the dedication and work through your time in our entity and wish you the best success for your future.“
Marcelino was appointed in May 2017 as Valencia manager but his position came after a difficult start to the 2018-19 season 12 months back under threat.
However, faith was maintained by the club and were rewarded when they finished the year by winning the Copa del Rey against Barcelona and securing a Champions League place.
Valencia have taken four points from three games this period and it had been reported in Spain that Lim known as club president Anil Murthy for an emergency meeting on Wednesday after determining to bag Marcelino.
Additionally, there are suggestions but Valencia have left no comment on his potential supervisor Mateu Alemany might be disregarded.
Real Madrid midfielder Albert Celades and former Barcelona, that had been an assistant trainer to Julen Lopetegui in the Santiago Bernabeu this past year, was tipped to take over at the Mestalla.
