Hybrid Power NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) cars will officially hit the trail for the very first time this year during Saturday’s practice sessions for the Advance Auto Parts Clash (Sunday, 3 p.m. ET).

Read today The following Sunday, the new MENCS year will get underway once the 61st running of the Daytona 500 moves green.
Avid motorsports bettors, like myself, have been wagering on The Great American Race, but NASCAR betting talk doesn’t normally pick up until Daytona 500 weekend, and specifically on raceday morning.
But, MENCS motorist Matt DiBenedetto has already taken a peek at Daytona 500 chances and appears to view himself as undervalued.
Not only did the NASCAR driver admit his odds, but he replied to bettors leaping at the chance to grab the longshot price.
Adhering to the 2018 season, DiBenedtto left Go Fas Racing to take over the No. 95 automobile for Leavine Family Racing.
DiBenedetto finished 27th in the 2018 Daytona 500, but followed it up a very strong seventh-place finish from the Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona in July.
At the time of writing, DiBenedetto can be obtained at 100-1 to win the 2019 Daytona 500 in the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook.
