„He is in good condition, this can be the start for him before we begin to check in Group Ones again.
„He’s not likely to Australia this year – we’ll just keep all of our options open. We are going to see how he works in this and then decide on his future.“
The other well-travelled runner would be where he was not disgraced in fifth position in the Arlington Million Andrew Balding’s Pivoine, that had his last outing in the us.
He had won the John Smith’s Diamond Jubilee Cup at York in July.
„He seems to have carried his visit to America very well,“ said Balding.
„He’s got shape on the Polytrack. Whether he’s quite as good at mile and a half as he’s at a mile and a quarter, I do not know, but we’ll discover that out.“
Roger Varian saddles two at Gibbs Hill, that ran well to finish fourth in a valuable race at York and Rasima, a Recorded winner last season who has failed to replicate this sentence.
„Gibbs Hill conducted well at York. He appears to be and has got good synthetic form. He enjoys the track and the trip, but we will just need to find out how he goes,“ said Varian.
„Rasima hasn’t really fired this season, but you might argue her two runs in the Hoppings Stakes at Newcastle are her finest pieces of lifetime form.
„Hopefully the Kempton surface will see her conduct very nicely, but she’s got a little to find about the figures.
„We are trying the mile and a half again. It hasn’t quite panned for her it might not or the trip may result in a bit of advancement, although because we enjoyed, but we’ll find out. It is a great race and she will require a career “
