Stones Gambling Hall at California announced that they were halting their livestream and launching an independent investigation after an uproar was caused by cheating allegations in the poker community.
The announcement, made on Twitter Thursday, said the casino hired attorney Michael Lipman to direct the fraud investigation up. Before entering private practice, Lipman was a helper U.S. lawyer leader of the Southern District of Californias fraud unit.
The investigation will concentrate on allegations that among those players was needed access to this livestream data and managed to see other players hole cards dwell. Postle proceeded Mike Matusows podcast and denied that the allegations on Twitter.
At the podcast, Postle claimed the stacks sizes tend to be inaccurate and that individuals did not know his distinctive playstyle.

The controversy started after Veronica Brill, poker player and a Stones worker, asked streamer Joey Ingram and poker pro to start looking into Postles playwith. Nothing turned up, although brill said that her concerns were repeatedly reported by her into Stones Gambling Hall and suspected Postle of cheating.
Ingram started reviewing hours live on his display and discovered several hands that he considered suspicious. Ingram published his findings on Reddit users along with other and Twitter TwoPlusTwo united in on the analysis and published their results on the internet.
Online sleuths calculated his own winrate, Postles winnings and came up with a date that the cheating began, July 18, 2018. They posted Postles winrate about the stream over Potripper chart.

Potripper was one of the super-user accounts from the supreme Bet and Absolute Poker cheating scandal from back in 2008. Poker sleuths also broke This cheating scandal. TwoPlusTwo users examined thousands of palms and discovered that a variety of account had access to some non invasiveGod-mode that allow the users state everybodys hole cards.
Former World Series of Poker Main Event Champion Russ Hamilton had been implicated in the scandal and recordings released years allege to show Hamilton admitting to robbing players of tens of thousands of dollars.
ThatGod-mode is what Ingram and many others suspect Postle had at the Stones Gambling Hall. Live streams have decks where every card has its own chip that is distinctive. That info is sent to the flow booth in which it is converted into graphics and superimposed onto a video flow. This is done on a delay to stop players from viewing cards along with commentators report on the flow that was delayed.
The allegation is that Postle had access into the cards, that might have required help. The story gained so much traction that it was featured on SportsCenter:
Pros like Haralabos Voulgaris, Doug Polk and Daniel Negreanu said they believed Postle cheated. Postle was defended by chris Moneymaker, the 2003 World Series of Poker World Champion. Moneymaker knows Postle and had played on the flow, however Moneymaker said he was not so sure that he was innocent, after reviewing some of the hands .
