(CNN) — A former international footballer for Ghana along with quite a few British soccer clubs has died at the age of 40.
Junior Agogo, played 27 days for Ghana’s national team, scoring 11 goals. He also scored the winning goal though the Black Stars were beaten in the semifinals by Cameroon.
However, in the tournament’s third place game Agogo also scored over the Ivory Coast.
The striker’s career was dominated by charms in England — especially by Nottingham Forest, Sheffield Wednesday and Bristol Rovers — but in addition, he played soccer in Cyprus, Scotland and the US.
Agogo suffered a stroke 2015 and fought with his address later.
He started his career but only made two Premier League appearances.
Agogo went on to combine and prosper at Bristol Rovers in 2003, at which he scored 41 goals in 126 looks.
His clubs turned to demonstrate their respect.
Agogo won over the hearts of lovers and joined Nottingham Forest in 2006.
He also played a leading part at the club 2007-2008 league effort, assisting Forest win promotion to the Championship — the second tier of English football — according to a single fan.

Nottingham Forest stated their thoughts were with Junior’s friends and family at this“unhappy moment.“
