I’ve decided to put my faith in FINAL VENTURE ??(12/1) ??after again following a close call at Ascot. This seven-year-old keeps banging on the door and will gradually land. He won’t be bothered by the ground , and he is recognized in contrast to others within the area.
I am going to have a bit of a gamble with TARBOOSH ??(40/1), the six-year-old returned in wind operation last time out and hampered any chances of winning from pulling quite hard in the opening stages. He was then eased out which flattered the winner. The goods can be produced by this horse after coming a useful second to Dakota Gold season on the day, which was revealed. At this price it’s well worth taking a bit of a risk.
I know I will regret not mentioning Camacho Chief…
VITALOGY (5/1) ??was quite impressive when winning big odds on introduction. The two year-old didn’t get the most easy of runs, but remained individual and then exploded in the last furlong. Arranmore came a ad has since gone on to evaluate at Cork. Harpocrates was a third party and has gone on to triumph at Naas. I’m surprised 9/2 is available with this horse.
I am trusting Frankie can land another ITV winner using LOGICIAN (6/5). There are some who wonder who the calibre of horses John Gosden’s three year old has conquered, but a whole lot of the horses that have ended in supporting, have gone onto put in some busting runs. Nothing so far has shown any reason to oppose him, although That can be Logician test.
CHARLES KINGSLEY (9/1) ??wasn’t embarrassed when completing 5th to King’s Advice at Goodwood, and actually ended the race fairly closely. The step up in trip again could do the job with this four year-old.
MANCINI (16/1) doesn’t suit the additional distance, and is much more appealing coming back to this trip. He ended up finishing 7th but appeared to have every opportunity before fading in the final furlongs. He finished a good second behind Carnwennan at this course in May.
BILL NEIGH (22/1) must have won 2 starts before, but lost to Dandizetter. He followed that second location up with another runners-up place when running a good race.
I’m unsure why BORN TO DESTORY (25/1) is such a major price, he has been beaten by a few fairly decent horses and has matched some in this area. In the event that you were looking for a different each-way bet in this market, this could be another for me.
WIN TREBLE: Vitalogy, Crystal Ocean and Logician @ 23/1
