Brighton will hand out bans to three supporters following incidents of racism at the Amex Stadium.
Two supporters had been ejected from the stadium at an match against Tottenham and also had their information forwarded to Sussex Police for additional investigation.
Another individual was removed and detained during Saturdays Premier League fixture against the side. Both events were reported with Albion fans.
A statement on the clubs website read:Three Brighton and Hove Albion supporters are facing extended prohibits and potential criminal charges, following two separate incidents of racism throughout recent games at the Amex.
Brighton chief executive and deputy chairman Paul Barber said:It is very hard to comprehend why a few people think its acceptable to act This Way, however we are very obvious that neither Brighton and Hove Albion, nor the wider
Football community, will endure discrimination or racism at any moment.
It is extremely reassuring that in both events our stewards were alerted to the totally improper conduct by other Albion enthusiasts and, working with Sussex Police, our employees were able to take speedy action, which hopefully will increase the chances of a conviction.
