Oleksandr Usyk will make his debut that is heavyweight on October 12 against Tyrone Spong in the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, live on Sky Sports.

A branch is being moved up by the cruiserweight champion after his knockout win over Tony Bellew in November and will face Spong, an unbeaten competition.
Spong includes 13 knockouts such as the stoppage win over Jeyson Minda of last weekend, at 14 struggle, and Usyk has voiced his respect for its 33-year-old.
„Spong is a rapid and powerful heavyweight that has had a lot success at the ring,“ explained Usyk. „I must come through this test to challenge for the whole world title. I look forward to seeing everyone there.“
A kick fighter, Spong relishes the challenge of confronting one of the planet’s elite boxers.
The Surinamese-Dutchman, who is ranked at # 4 by the WBO, said:“After achieving nearly all of my goals as a kick boxer and becoming among the most decorated winners at the history of the sport, “ I wanted to test myself in the difficult and challenging sport of boxing.
„I have worked tirelessly during the last few years and now have the opportunity to demonstrate my worth as a boxer against possibly the best pound-for-pound, and most technically sound fighter on earth.
„Some may believe the challenge may be too difficult, but I believe in myself, and look forward to being victorious on October 12.“
