Italy head coach Conor O’Shea has named a side to face England in their Rugby World Cup warm-up match that was closing.
O’Shea has made 11 changes to the side that lost last weekend.
Gloucester scrum-half Callum Braley is set to get his first cap for the Azzurri when they face England in St James‘ Park on Saturday, live on Sky Sports.
Dean Budd will ruler Italy in Newcastle and the Benetton lock believes their opponents this weekend might go all of the way.
„In our view they are going to be in the final,“ he said. „They’re among the best teams , the way they play with game they look like a very fluid and physical group.“
When asked which England players were the most threatening to confront, Budd added:“I think [Billy] Vunipola is likely number one.
„The advantage line he could make to the England boys, simply matching him stopping him from going forward would be huge in order that they can’t get that front ball.
„When they can set those springs then they are quite dangerous.“
